Documents Ai Weiwei’s Fairytale project for documenta 12 in Kassel in 2007, in which 1,001 Chinese citizens of different ages and social backgrounds traveled to Germany for 28 days. The film follows the project’s preparation, participants’ challenges and their journey to Kassel.
