The filmmaker turns his camera toward an aunt who runs a beauty salon in a Yunnan town near the Myanmar border. Once a maternal figure who helped raise him, she speaks freely about childhood, love, family and the women working around her. The film becomes a warm, intimate record of kinship and everyday life.
