Inside a cramped Beijing apartment, a working-class family struggles to keep a small leather-bag business afloat. Director Liu Jiayin casts herself and her parents as fictionalized versions of themselves, using twenty-three carefully composed static shots to turn arguments over money, work and everyday routines into an intimate portrait of family solidarity under economic pressure.
