An enduring but fragile love story between Qiaoqiao and Bin unfolds from the early 2000s to the present. After Bin leaves Datong without warning to seek opportunities elsewhere, Qiaoqiao sets out to find him. Built from footage shot across more than two decades, the film also traces profound social change in contemporary China.
