小芬在一家法律事务所做文员，每天记录客户关于离婚、医疗纠纷、腐败和私人报复的故事。与此同时，她自己的感情关系也陷入不安，而城市中关于化工厂事故的传闻不断扩散，个人困境与社会焦虑逐渐交叠。
Xiaofen works as a secretary in a legal office, recording clients’ stories of divorce, medical malpractice, corruption and revenge. At the same time, she faces her own unstable relationship and a growing sense of insecurity as rumors of a chemical-plant disaster spread through the city.
