During Hong Kong’s 2019 protest movement, summer heat becomes part of the demonstrators’ everyday reality. The film observes how people improvise shade, rest, water and cooling while streets are filled with marches, barricades and police actions, using the absence of air-conditioning as a small but revealing entry point into the bodily experience of political upheaval.
