Before the second anniversary of the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, Ai Xiaoming and volunteers return to Beichuan to revisit parents of students who died and search for people familiar with the school construction plans. The film contrasts memorial grief and continued demands for truth with the emergence of disaster tourism and the spectacle surrounding the construction of a new Beichuan.
