一个摄制组来到中国南方小镇永安，为一部“这里什么都不会发生”的电影做前期准备。结果导演、编剧、女主演和当地居民之间不断发生意外事件，反而让创作失去控制。影片以三个章节和不同人物视角展开，带着幽默讨论电影、个人野心与普通生活之间的距离。
A film crew arrives in the small southern town of Yong’an to prepare a feature based on the premise that ‘nothing happens here.’ Instead, a series of incidents involving the director, screenwriter, lead actress and local residents disrupt the production. Told in three chapters from different perspectives, the film playfully examines the gap between cinema, ambition and ordinary life.
