影片梗概｜Synopsis

六十七岁的农妇方绣英患有晚期阿尔茨海默症，治疗无效后被家人接回家等待生命终结。她生命最后几天里，亲戚、邻居和村民不断来到床边聊天、守候和照料，而她的身体逐渐失去回应能力。王兵把死亡拍成乡村共同体日常生活的一部分，而不是抽象事件。

Fang Xiuying is a sixty-seven-year-old farmer suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s disease. After treatment fails, she is brought home to die. Over the final days of her life, relatives, neighbours and villagers come and go around her bed, chatting, waiting and caring for her as her body gradually loses the ability to respond. Wang Bing observes death not as an abstract event but as part of the social life of a rural community.
