绥宁县处在西昌卫星发射中心火箭残骸的落区之下。二十年来，火箭碎片多次落入贫困农村，损坏房屋并打乱居民生活。影片把中国“奥运年”和航天成就的庆祝氛围，与村民必须长期承受“天上掉东西”的现实危险并置起来。
Suining County lies beneath the drop zone of debris from rockets launched at Xichang. Over two decades, wreckage has repeatedly fallen into poor rural communities, damaging homes and disrupting everyday life. Against the celebratory atmosphere of China’s Olympic and space ambitions, the film observes villagers who are proud of national technological progress yet must live with the danger literally falling from the sky.
