冯艳历时七年跟随三峡库区农民张秉爱。随着三峡工程推进，搬迁压力不断增加，她一边与劝迁人员周旋，一边讲述自己的家庭、婚姻与人生苦难；影片也呈现她对土地难以割舍的感情。
Over seven years, filmmaker Feng Yan follows farmer Zhang Bingai as the Three Gorges Dam project pressures residents to relocate. Bingai resists officials urging her to leave while speaking candidly about family, marriage, hardship and her deep attachment to the land.
