In the textile town of Zhili, young migrants from rural China work long days sewing children’s clothes in small workshops. Wang Bing follows their labour, friendships, romances, arguments with bosses and dreams of a better future across several seasons, revealing a youthful world shaped by piece-rate work, mobility and fragile economic hope.
