Six mothers from different parts of China speak openly about having gay or lesbian children. Rather than treating their children’s sexuality as a family tragedy, they describe the process of understanding, acceptance and public support. Their stories offer a counter-image to widespread social pressure and redefine parental love and family bonds in contemporary China.
