一名藏族青年担心自家的藏獒被偷走转卖，索性先把它卖给狗贩子。年迈的父亲却把狗视作多年陪伴放牧的伙伴，而不是商品，坚持把它赎回来。父子冲突由此发展成关于家庭权威、金钱以及商业化压力下藏族传统生活被侵蚀的悲喜剧。
A young Tibetan man sells his family’s valuable mastiff before it can be stolen and traded on the booming market for Tibetan dogs. His elderly father, who sees the animal as a loyal working companion rather than a commodity, insists on buying it back. Their conflict becomes a tragicomic story about family authority, money and the erosion of traditional Tibetan life under commercial pressure.
