北京一夜之间，两条看似毫无关系的故事同时展开。童的女友遭到绑架，但他不愿支付赎金，而是雇私人侦探寻找她；与此同时，另外两名女性被关在屋内，被迫整夜接待一个又一个客人。影片取材于真实事件，以平行叙事揭开城市夜色中的暴力、剥削与阴影。
Over one night in Beijing, two apparently unrelated stories unfold. Tong’s girlfriend has been kidnapped, but instead of paying the ransom he hires a private investigator to find her. Elsewhere, two women are confined in a room and forced to receive clients throughout the night. Based on real incidents, the parallel stories expose violence, exploitation and the darker underside of the city before morning arrives.
