Synopsis

Eleven-year-old Yijie lives with her migrant-worker family inside a small recycling workshop that processes imported plastic waste. She longs to attend school while adults sort and melt refuse by hand amid severe pollution. Through two families sharing the factory, the film connects global consumption to poverty, health risks and environmental damage in rural China.
