十四岁的海因为惹事被学校开除，之后整天和贵州当地一群骑摩托的少年混在一起。父母骂他没出息，甚至用暴力试图管教，而他一心梦想有一天成为“老板”，最终走向城市。影片以贴近人物的方式呈现一个在当代中国边缘环境中成长的少年。
Fourteen-year-old Hai is expelled from school for troublemaking and spends his days with a teenage motorcycle gang in Guizhou. His parents call him a failure and try, sometimes violently, to discipline him, while he dreams of becoming a ‘boss’ and eventually heads toward the city. The film offers an intimate coming-of-age portrait of a boy growing up on the margins of contemporary China.
