影片梗概｜Synopsis
甘肃农村的马有铁和贵英都是被家庭和社会边缘化的中年人，在亲属安排下结婚。两人几乎没有财产和社会地位，却通过种地、照料牲畜和亲手盖土房慢慢建立起自己的生活。逐渐生长的温柔感情，与贫困、剥削以及随时可能抹去他们微小稳定的乡村秩序形成对照。
In rural Gansu, Ma and Guiying are two marginalized middle-aged people pushed into an arranged marriage by their families. With almost no property or social status, they gradually build a modest life together through farming, caring for animals and constructing a mud-brick home. Their growing tenderness is set against poverty, exploitation and a rural order that can erase even the small stability they create.
