影片用16毫米胶片拍摄中国西北曾因石油繁荣、如今近似鬼城的玉门。躁动的年轻人、游荡的艺术家和孤独的女人在废弃工业景观与空荡街道中寻找联系，也寻找共同过去的痕迹。纪录、表演与鬼故事元素在片中交织，构成一个正在消失的世界。
Shot on 16mm in the once-booming oil town of Yumen in China’s northwest, the film wanders through abandoned industrial landscapes and nearly empty streets. Restless youth, a wandering artist and a lonely woman drift among ruins searching for connection and traces of a collective past, while documentary observation, performance and ghost-story elements merge into a portrait of a disappearing world.
