八十岁的退休铁路工人唐希信性格强硬、话多而坦率。他的女儿彩凤经营妓院并涉足非法采矿，回到家后，把灰色生意、法律风险和现实生存带进父亲充满20世纪记忆的世界。父女紧张复杂的关系，也成为两个被完全不同历史时代塑造的世代肖像。
Eighty-year-old retired railway worker Tang Xixin is outspoken, stubborn and full of stories. His daughter Caifeng, who runs a brothel and is involved in illegal mining, returns to the family home, bringing the worlds of marginal business, law and survival into collision with her father’s memories of twentieth-century China. Their tense relationship becomes a portrait of two generations shaped by radically different eras.
